Viewing a PDF
If you are unable to view PDF documents it may be because you don't have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer. You can download Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website. PDF documents on this website can be opened with Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or above. If you are using an older version of Acrobat Reader, you can upgrade at the Adobe site - later versions often include more useful features and options for users.
Once you have installed Acrobat Reader, it should open whenever you click on a link to a PDF document. If you find a PDF document you want to refer back to, you can save a copy on your own computer. To do this, instead of clicking to open the document, right click (or on a Mac, click and hold), then select "Save Target As..." and choose a location to save the document. If you have already opened the document, click the Save button in the top left corner of the Acrobat Reader window (it looks like this:
).
Please remember that there are certain copyright conditions in saving an NPWS page or document.
